The Reading Public Schools is pleased to announce that Richele Shankland has been appointed as the Principal of Parker Middle School. Ms. Shankland is currently the Assistant Principal at Lynnfield Middle School where she has been for the last 16 years. During that time, she has served in the roles of a mathematics teacher, a mathematics department head, and, currently as an administrator.  Richele has a Bachelor of Arts in secondary education  from Arizona State University, a Master of Liberal Arts from State University of New York, and a Master of Education at Salem State College.  Her leadership style, strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of curriculum and instruction will be an excellent match for the Parker Middle School Community.

Ms. Shankland will begin as Parker Principal on July 1st and will begin to work with the current Parker administration in transition activities.
